About the Journal

"FARMHOUSE Science & Technology" is a scientific publication, responsible for promoting the most relevant results of the professionals of the Higher Polytechnic Institute of Science and Technology (INSUTEC), as well as from Angola and other parts of the world.

FOCUS AND SCOPE

Its objectives are to show the progress of current scientific currents and to encourage the exchange of experiences between researchers from different scientific communities.

"FARMHOUSE Science & Technology" dedicates the largest number of its publications to original articles that communicate the first fruits of scientific research reports.

PERIODICITY

The journal is published every six months, in the months of June (January-June) and December (July-December), but this does not inhibit the possibility of the publication of special editions, whenever justified.

Its publications are made in three languages, namely Portuguese, English and Spanish.

The journal has a multidisciplinary focus, with a broad spectrum that covers the Social Sciences and Humanities, the Exact Sciences and Engineering, and the Medical Sciences.

The acceptance of contributions depends, to a large extent, on respect for the profile and editorial policy established by the journal and implies compliance with the requirements required by its Editorial Board, which has the prerogative not to accept them.

The contribution must be original and unpublished, and must not have been published or be evaluated by another journal.

EDITORIAL PROCESS AND PEER REVIEW

The texts submitted to the journal will be subject to a preliminary analysis by the editors of the journal. The items to be taken into account are originality, adequacy to the journal's rules, argumentative structure organized into introduction, development and conclusion; inclusion of the final list of bibliographic references with complete information; and declaration of originality.

The evaluation of the articles is done by specialists in the area, who may be Angolans or foreigners with recognition and prestige in the area in which they work professionally and in the form of double-blind pairs, who have 20 to 30 days to decree their validity. If one of the referees evaluates positively and the other negatively, a third party is consulted who will give the final dictate. Once this arbitration process is concluded, the work is forwarded to the correction team for a final evaluation (if necessary). It then goes to the executive and/or section editor, who is responsible for editing and preparing all the works for publication.

The opinion on the work, presented by the referees, is unappealable and non-public and will be communicated by the Editorial, in person or via e-mail to the author or authors, but never by third parties.

All articles published in FARMHOUSE Ciência & Tecnologia are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

This license allows others to share and adapt the material for non-commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given and derivative works are distributed under the same license.

The content of the publications is the responsibility of the authors and not of the journal. The intellectual property rights of the submitted texts belong entirely to the authors, who will grant the publisher the right of first publication. The journal waives any right it may have for its editing or electronic publication.

Each author must confirm the exclusivity of the journal in the evaluation of their article, and its originality, as well as ensure that all the content of other authors that they used in their work was properly cited.

All work is submitted to a first evaluation, the analysis of plagiarism with the Plagius software." FARMHOUSE Science & Technology" adheres to the absolute commitment not to publish any work that has a component of plagiarism or fraud.

In this sense, the selection criteria for the contributions published in this journal refer exclusively to scientific relevance, clarity and originality.
