Keywords:

This article analyzes the influence of family breakdown on the deviant behavior of homeless youth in the Rasta neighborhood of Luanda. The research, of an applied and descriptive nature, used a quantitative approach based on questionnaires applied to 30 young people between 16 and 24 years old. The results indicate that factors such as the absence of parental figures, domestic violence and precarious socioeconomic conditions contribute significantly to the adoption of deviant behaviors, such as drug use and gang involvement. The study proposes multidisciplinary interventions, such as family support programs, professional training and integrated public policies, to mitigate the effects of family breakdown and promote the social reintegration of these young people.
