Abstract

The goal of the article is to outline the management of those who work, particularly their training. Start with the wide variety of words on management, human resources, work competences and training. Conventionally are assumed concepts and their definitions, as well as the content of management work and kind of resources with which operate and entity. Follow with the process to manage human resources, their need and orientation to work competences, as well as the classification of the last ones and its links with the above–mentioned processes and other organizational variables. It continues particularizing on training and its activities. Proceed with the role of scholar institutions, particularly those of higher education, in the development of work competences in their students, as well as other entities and real or potential entrepreneurs in its environment. The conclusions summarize the contents exposed and is recommended to considerer them by work entities and scholar institutions, universities included.
