Quality of Life at Work
Keywords:
Quality of life, work, SatisfactionAbstract
Organizations have given increasing attention to the quality of life at work, due to its great impact on organizations. Organizations with strategies based on quality need to redouble their attention to workers since they need attention and care so that they can meet their needs for personal and professional growth. In organizations, the quality of working life offered to workers directly or indirectly influences all aspects of it. The factors that influence the quality of work life are facilitators to assess the quality of work life in the organization. The present study is of a quantitative character, as for the objectives it fits as exploratory and descriptive and as technical procedures it is characterized as a case study, applied to INSUTEC students with an employment relationship. Data were collected through an adapted questionnaire based on Walton's 8 dimensions (1973), but we will analyze only four of these dimensions. The attention given to the quality of life at work by organizations and all the actions applied by them demonstrate clear differences in job satisfaction, and of course, with people's well-being and performance improvements.
